Our first meet- I saw the future!!

Take me back to when we first met.I traveled half way around the world.Funny enough you were late.But I would have easily waited a lifetime.
My memory recalls the wait in between your calls.The butterflies fluttering in my tummy, the polluted road.The stuffy weather outside a mall and the beggars just outside the door.
Finally you arrive and nothing else matters.My eyes confirms what my imagination conjured up.My first words are left unsaid .Today my last words will be the same.
Why does it have to end when we have just begun.Things will only get better, there is so much yet to be done.It’s only a stage in your life where only a little bit of happiness has crept in.

You smiled & I smiled!! The world seemed so small! It was your hands!! It was your touch!! It was you smile! It was your love!! No... No.. No.. Do I get to say that it was "Love". It was like I was holding the whole world in my little eyes for a while!! Am so glad I'll get to see it for the rest of my life!!
